Who makes this, and why it looks like this
HomeRobotData is an independent reference for choosing a home robot that will actually work in your house. It is not run by, funded by, or affiliated with any maker whose products it lists.
Why every page starts with your house
A robot mower is rated for an area and a slope. A pool robot is rated for a pool type and length. A litter box is rated for a cat weight. Most buying guides rank the machines and leave you to find those limits in a manual after the box arrives. We read the limits first, from the maker’s own pages, and judge every unit against the house you describe.
How robots get onto this site
No maker pays to appear here, and no maker can pay to rank higher. We track the units a household actually weighs: the ones on the first page of results, in the Reddit threads, and on the shelf. We read limits from the maker’s own pages and manuals and save the link and the sentence. We do not record a figure that only appears in a listing or a review. We never copy a limit from a sibling model. A missing figure stays missing, and the page says so.

What this site will not do
- Claim to have tested a unit. We cite the people who did, by name and link.
- Publish a figure without its source.
- Call a unit safe. We screen the CPSC database and say what a clean result does not mean.
- Move a pick for a commission.
