Segway Navimow vs. Mammotion Luba
The two wire-free brands people weigh against each other most, six models between them, judged against one yard: a quarter acre, a bank you notice, no boundary wire. Every figure is the maker's own, and every gap is marked.
For this yard, the Segway Navimow i210 AWD. Both brands clear it on their own published limits, so the choice comes down to margin and price: the Navimow is rated for 10,890 sq ft of lawn and a 45% slope against this yard's 9,000 sq ft and 25%, positions by RTK + camera, lists at $1,299 and was $1,299 on Amazon when checked. The Mammotion LUBA 3 AWD 3000H is rated for 32,670 sq ft and an 80% slope, several times this lawn and several times this hill, at $2,799 list and $2,109 on Amazon.
Buy the Mammotion if you have the acreage or the slope its ratings are built for. Between the siblings, the Segway Navimow H210 carries the same lawn and slope ratings with lidar positioning at $1,799 list, the Segway Navimow i110N at $1,099 clears this yard on a tighter 30% slope rating, and the Mammotion YUKA mini 2 1000H at $1,559 clears it on 45%; none of those three had an Amazon listing that passed our identity check. The table below has every figure side by side.

Who this is for
Read on if you have already narrowed it to Navimow or Mammotion and want the two makers' own area, slope and navigation figures next to each other, judged against a yard instead of against each other's marketing. The three-way page adds WORX Landroid to the same house.
Against the same house
The lawn on this page is 9,000 square feet in one mowing area with a steepest slope of 25%, and a buried boundary wire ruled out. Area settles nothing between these two brands: every model here is rated at or above this lawn. Slope is where they separate, and the table prints each maker's own figure.
Adjust to your house. Change the numbers and this box re-judges the models compared here against your house, with the same rules and the same maker figures. The picks and tables above stay on the page’s own house.

The Navimow Amazon sells: clears both limits at the lower price

$1,299 at Amazon, September 20, 202610,890 sq ft lawn, up to45% slope, up toRTK + camera navigation
Segway rates the Navimow i210 AWD for 10,890 sq ft of lawn and a 45% slope; this yard asks 9,000 sq ft and 25%, so it clears both with margin. It positions by RTK + camera, which Segway describes as tri-frequency network RTK fused with vision, and it lists at $1,299, against $2,799 on the Mammotion's side of the table; it was $1,299 on Amazon when checked. What Segway leaves blank on its own page matters too: no cutting width, cut-height range, runtime, noise figure or warranty appears in the maker's own text we captured, so those cells read not captured rather than borrowed from the Amazon listing.
Price as of September 20, 2026; the listing we verified as the bare unit. Sold by Navimow Store US when we checked; we could not confirm whether that seller is an authorized dealer for the maker's warranty, so check before you buy.
Living with it
Two of Navimow's services are free and one is not, on the sibling models whose pages state it: Network RTK positioning stays free for the life of the mower, and the Connect+ tier that carries the cellular link, remote control and alerts is free for the first year and then renews for an annual fee. Read the i210's own page for its terms before buying; this record does not assume they match.
What you give up
The slope rating, against the Mammotion's: 45% against 80%. Enough for this bank, and not for a steeper one. And a maker page that states its figures: Segway publishes far less for this model than for the Navimow H210, which is why the H210's row is fuller.

Mammotion rates the LUBA 3 AWD 3000H for 32,670 sq ft of lawn and an 80% slope, positions it by RTK + lidar with camera vision on top, and publishes the figures Segway does not: a 15.7 in cut, 215 min of runtime, a cut height from 2.2 in to 4 in, 70 dB of noise and a rain sensor. It lists at $2,799 and was $2,109 on Amazon when checked, the only verified Amazon listing on this page.
Price as of September 20, 2026; the listing we verified as the bare unit. Sold by Mammotion Technology, the maker's own storefront, when we checked.
Living with it
Mammotion charges nothing for the connection: the NetRTK positioning service is free for the life of the product, and the mower ships with years of cellular data on top. Owners report the front wheels pick up a lot of mud and that the whole mower can be hosed down; a TechRadar reviewer had no trouble with installation, mapping, navigation or cutting, but hit occasional app connectivity drops away from home.

What long-term reviewers report, each line cited to its published source; not our own testing.
- Independent testers agree the LUBA 3 AWD 3000 is a premium, capable mower best suited to large, complex lawns with slopes, and overkill for small yards. techradar.com
- The mower's front wheels tearing up grass and causing bald patches in soft, shady soil is a recurring complaint that goes beyond a single reviewer's own experience. techradar.com
- Automated boundary mapping works well most of the time but is not perfect, occasionally skipping sections of the yard or missing obstacles that then need manual correction. popularmechanics.com
- The Mammotion app's manual driving controls are consistently cited as one of the roughest parts of the ownership experience, even by testers otherwise impressed with the mower. popularmechanics.com
- Once set up, day-to-day reliability is strong: testers report the mower handling installation, mapping, navigation and routine cutting with no major issues over weeks of scheduled use. techradar.com
What independent testers found
We do not test units ourselves. These are figures and verdicts published by named testers, with the maker’s claim beside them where the tester gave it; where a tester relays owners’ reports rather than a measurement, the row says so.
| What | Finding | Tester |
|---|---|---|
| Mapping time | Automated mapping plus manual fixes to add a missed yard section and fence off exposed roots took nearly an hour. | Popular Mechanics |
| Runtime | Mowed a half-acre lawn in about 1 hour 50 minutes with battery power left over. | Popular Mechanics |
| Slope handled | Successfully climbed a slope steep enough that the reviewer could not walk up it unaided, using the app's manual drive controls. (maker: Rated by Mammotion for gradients up to 80% (38.6 degrees)) | TechRadar (Derek Adams) |
| Noted | On Standard obstacle-avoidance sensitivity it stopped about 3 feet from a stuffed toy obstacle; on Sensitive it detected and avoided a toy only 1 inch tall. | TechRadar (Derek Adams) |
| Noted | Dual cutting discs gave a measured cutting swath of about 15 inches, letting it cover the lawn faster with fewer passes than a competing single-blade mower. | Popular Mechanics |
| Noted | Remotely started a mow and watched the mower's live camera feed from over 20 miles away from home. | Popular Mechanics |
- TechRadar wholeheartedly recommends the LUBA 3 AWD 3000 for large, complex lawns with steep slopes, awarding it 4.5 out of 5 stars. (4.5 out of 5 stars) TechRadar (Derek Adams)
- TechRadar says the LUBA 3's four-wheel traction and wide body are overkill on small lawns. TechRadar (Derek Adams)
- Popular Mechanics concludes the LUBA 3 AWD is a smart, efficient, competent robot mower that most buyers will be pleased with, despite rough edges in manual driving and schedule editing. Popular Mechanics
What you give up
Price, and size. It is built for acreage, and this quarter acre uses a fraction of what it is rated for. If the hill is the reason you are looking at it, the Mammotion LUBA mini 2 AWD 1500 carries the same 80% slope rating for $1,999 list.

Side by side, from the makers’ own documents
“Not captured” means the maker’s page we captured does not state it: a gap in our record, not a zero, and never filled from a sibling model. “No verified listing” means no Amazon listing for the bare unit passed our identity check yet. A price marked “list” is the maker’s list price, shown where no listing passed; a bare price is what the verified Amazon listing showed when we checked.

Buying it right
A search for any of these models returns bundles, last year’s model under a similar name and, often, the same unit under two listings at different prices. We link only a listing whose own title and model number match the bare unit. Check the seller is the maker or Amazon itself, and that the model number on the box matches the one on this page.

What this page can’t promise
Side by side means side by side on what the two makers publish, and a published limit is a claim, not a measurement. Where a maker leaves a cell blank we leave it blank; it is never filled in from a sibling model.
Nothing here was tested by us. Every measured figure under a pick belongs to the tester named beside it, and every complaint is an owner's. The Segway Navimow i210 AWD has no Amazon listing that passed our identity check, so its buy line goes to Segway; the Mammotion LUBA 3 AWD 3000H was selling under its list price when we checked.
A slope rating is the maker's figure for dry grass on a straight run, and no table can see the wet cross-slope, the ditch at the bottom or the tree roots that decide whether a mower actually stays on your hill.
Questions people ask
Is the Navimow or the Luba better for a quarter-acre lawn with a hill?
For this quarter acre with a 25% bank, the Segway Navimow i210 AWD: it clears both limits on Segway's figures and lists at $1,299. The Mammotion LUBA 3 AWD 3000H clears them by a wider margin and costs $2,799 list, capacity this yard never uses.
Which climbs the steeper hill, Navimow or Mammotion?
By published rating, the Mammotion: the LUBA 3 AWD 3000H is rated for an 80% slope against the Segway Navimow i210 AWD's 45%. Both are the makers' figures for dry grass on a straight run.
Do either of them need a boundary wire?
No. Every model on this page positions by satellite correction with a camera or lidar on top, and neither maker ships a wire. What each one needs instead is the maker's positioning service, and whether that costs anything is covered under each pick.
Which Navimow does Amazon actually sell?
The Segway Navimow i210 AWD, at $1,299 when checked, and its smaller i206 AWD sibling. The Segway Navimow H210 and Segway Navimow i110N in the table are sold by Segway directly; no Amazon listing for either passed our identity check.
Other houses we judged
- Half acre, no wireThe best robot lawn mower with no perimeter wire, for a half-acre yard
A half-acre lawn, one continuous piece, a slope you notice when you push a mower up it, and no wire you are willing to bury. Every robot mower we track, judged against that yard from the limits its own maker publishes.
- Small yardThe best robot lawn mower for a small yard
A small suburban lawn, a gentle grade, and a couple of beds to steer around. Almost every robot mower we track clears a yard this size, so the question stops being which one is big enough and starts being which one is worth what it costs.
- ComparedNavimow vs. Mammotion Luba vs. Worx Landroid
Navimow, Mammotion Luba and Worx Landroid on the area, slope and navigation figures their makers publish, then judged against one quarter-acre yard.
- Inground poolThe best robotic pool cleaner for an inground pool
An inground pool of ordinary size, with walls that need scrubbing as much as the floor does. Every robotic cleaner we track, judged against it on the pool length and wall climbing the makers publish, and then on what independent testers found when they ran the machines.
- Above-ground poolThe best robotic pool cleaner for an above-ground pool
An above-ground pool 24 feet across, on a soft liner, with a wall you can reach over. The maker's own pool-type rating decides this page before anything else gets a say: it rules out 5 of the 13 cleaners judged here on its own.
- Three catsThe best automatic litter box for multiple cats
3 cats, one of them big and one of them small, and one box that has to serve all of them. Two published limits decide it: the number of cats the maker rates the box for, and the weight range its sensors were built around.
- Pet hair, hard floorsThe best robot vacuum for pet hair on hard floors
A shedding dog or two cats, hard floors through most of the house, low thresholds between the rooms, and a wish that the bin emptied itself. Two robot vacuums come out of that house as picks, judged from the limits their makers publish rather than from a lab's dust-pickup score.
- GuideMeasure before you buy
Every home robot is sold against a limit, and every maker calls that limit something different on its spec page. Here is how to get your own numbers first.
- GuideApps, subscriptions and what stops working offline
