Living with it
- Consumables
- Ecovacs' support site says GOAT blades aren't universal -- it tells owners to buy replacement blades only from the official Ecovacs store or an authorized specialty store, warning that other blades may not be possible to install. ecovacs.com (support)
- Set-up
- Ecovacs says the O1000 RTK's wire-free setup and mapping process takes about 5 minutes, with no boundary wiring or signal beacons to install. ecovacs.com
- Warranty
- Ecovacs' general returns-and-warranties policy, which is not written specifically for the mower line, promises 12 months of coverage against defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase. ecovacs.com (support)
- Safety
- Ecovacs' support site says the O1000 RTK's theft protection is an app-enabled lift alarm that makes the buzzer sound continuously if the mower is picked up, but the same answer confirms this model has no GPS capability for locating a stolen unit. ecovacs.com (support)
What long-term reviewers report.
- Ecovacs' own support site confirms the O1000 RTK has no GPS capability, so its anti-theft protection is limited to a lift-triggered buzzer alarm -- there is no way to remotely locate the mower if it is stolen the way GPS-equipped competitors allow. ecovacs.com (support)
- Ecovacs' support FAQ confirms the O1000 RTK cannot sound an alarm while it is sitting in its docking station -- the anti-theft alarm only works once the mower has been lifted. ecovacs.com (support)
