Roborock vs. eufy
Two brands that publish nearly every figure a buyer could ask for, judged for one house: hard floors, pets, a mop and a self-emptying dock wanted. Six models, every limit from the maker's own page.
For hard floors with pets, the eufy X10 Pro Omni: 8,000 Pa of suction, a mop (two spinning pads), a self-emptying dock, an anti-tangle brush, 173 min of runtime, a 21 mm threshold climb, at $900 list and $450 on Amazon when checked. The Roborock Q10 S5+ answers with 10,000 Pa, a mop (vibrating pad), a dock rated for 49 days and an anti-tangle main and side brush, at $550 list and $280 on Amazon.
Both clear this house on their makers' figures, and the Roborock costs a good deal less. The eufy publishes the spinning mop its dock washes and the longer runtime, 173 min against 150 min; the Roborock's mop is a vibrating pad you pull off by hand. The Roborock Q7 M5+ at $280 states the dock and the brush but no mop mechanism; the Roborock Q8 Max+ clears every row but had no Amazon listing that passed our identity check; the Roborock Q7 Max has no self-emptying dock; and the eufy 11S Max at $140 publishes no mop and no dock.
The Amazon links on this page are affiliate links: if you buy through one we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. It does not change which units are picked. How that works.

Who this is for
Read on if it is Roborock or eufy and you want suction, mop, dock, brush and runtime figures from the two makers side by side. The three-way page adds Roomba, the brand that publishes the least of the three.
Against the same house
The house is hard floors, a shedding dog, a mop and a self-emptying dock wanted, and each of those wants becomes a check against something a maker has to have published. Both brands publish an anti-tangle brush, a mop and a self-emptying dock for their flagship here, which is why both clear. The cheaper unit from each brand misses on the dock, the mop or both.
If your own floors have rugs, pick a rug setting in the box below. It then asks whether the maker publishes a mop-lift height; eufy's Amazon listing advertises one, eufy's own page prints none, and we read listing titles to identify a unit, never to score one.
Adjust to your house. Change the numbers and this box re-judges the models compared here against your house, with the same rules and the same maker figures. The picks and tables above stay on the page’s own house.

Living with it
What you notice first is how little the robot asks of you: Vacuum Wars found the dock empties the bin, washes and dries the pads and refills the mop tank without being asked. On the floor the reports split by surface: the same testers found the front brush weaker on fine grit on hard floors, and TechGearLab found the square body cleans flush into corners but lets tiny debris slip past at the edge.

What long-term reviewers and owners report, each line cited to its published source; not our own testing.
- Vacuum Wars found the mop pads exert real downward pressure and fully lifted dried-on coffee and grape-juice stains in testing. vacuumwars.com
- The self-emptying, self-washing dock gives owners a largely hands-off routine between manual cleanings. vacuumwars.com
- TechGearLab's lab measurements found noise swinging from 59 dB up to over 100 dB, making it by far the loudest vacuum in their tests. techgearlab.com
- The companion app is buggier and less polished than competing apps, with lag in the live cleaning map. vacuumwars.com
- In the first round of Vacuum Wars' debris tests it ran erratically, trying to avoid the larger debris rather than pick it up. vacuumwars.com
What independent testers found
We do not test units ourselves. These are figures and verdicts published by named testers, with the maker’s claim beside them where the tester gave it; where a tester relays owners’ reports rather than a measurement, the row says so.
| What | Finding | Tester |
|---|---|---|
| Noise | Noise fluctuated from 59 dB up to 100+ dB during cleaning, per lab measurement | TechGearLab |
| Noted | Covered about 138 sq ft per charge in real-world navigation testing, rated above average | Vacuum Wars |
| Noted | Spinning mop pads exert about 1 kg (2 lb) of downward pressure while mopping, more than most competitors tested | Vacuum Wars |
| Noted | Mapped the tester's floor plan in about 5 minutes using quick mapping | Vacuum Wars |
| Noted | Square-ish shape let it clean flush against walls and corners, though tiny debris sometimes escaped suction at the edges | TechGearLab |
- Vacuum Wars concluded the X10 Pro Omni delivers flagship-level features and strong value despite minor app and pickup nitpicks. Vacuum Wars
- TechGearLab flagged noise as the X10 Pro Omni's biggest weakness, finding it the loudest vacuum in their test group. TechGearLab
What you give up
The longer published runtime, which is the Roborock's: 150 min against 173 min. And a dock rating in days; eufy gives the bag size, not the interval.
Figures from eufy.com; recall screen: no published CPSC recall names this exact model (screened 2026-09-17) (how we screen, CPSC).

Roborock states 10,000 Pa of suction, a mop (vibrating pad), lidar mapping with lidar obstacle avoidance, an anti-tangle main and side brush, 150 min of runtime and a dock it rates at 49 days. It lists at $550, was $280 on Amazon when checked, and Roborock's own store showed $280. Against this house it clears every row, on a vibrating pad rather than the eufy's spinning, self-washing mop.

What you give up
The self-washing mop and the longer runtime, both the eufy's. And a mop-lift figure, which neither maker publishes for these two.

Side by side, from the makers’ own documents
“Not captured” means the maker’s page we captured does not state it: a gap in our record, not a zero, and never filled from a sibling model. “No verified listing” means no Amazon listing for the bare unit passed our identity check yet. A price marked “list” is the maker’s list price, shown where no listing passed; a bare price is what the verified Amazon listing showed when we checked.

Buying it right
A search for any of these models returns bundles, last year’s model under a similar name and, often, the same unit under two listings at different prices. We link only a listing whose own title and model number match the bare unit. Check the seller is the maker or Amazon itself, and that the model number on the box matches the one on this page.

What this page can’t promise
Side by side means what the makers publish, and an empty cell is not a zero. The mop-lift row is empty for every model on this page for exactly that reason.
Nothing here was tested by us. The tester findings under each pick belong to the named testers, and the complaints are owners' reports. The Roborock Q10 S5+ has no Amazon listing that passed our identity check, so its buy line goes to Roborock's own store.
A dock bag rated in days is the maker's figure for the maker's house on the maker's schedule, and the page cannot know how fast a shedding dog on hard floors fills yours.
Questions people ask
Is Roborock or eufy better for pet hair?
Both publish an anti-tangle brush. The eufy X10 Pro Omni publishes 8,000 Pa of suction against the Roborock Q10 S5+'s 10,000 Pa, and the longer runtime, 173 min against 150 min.
Which mops better on hard floors?
The eufy's mop is two spinning pads, washed and dried by its dock; the Roborock's is a vibrating pad you remove by hand. A spinning mop scrubs, a pad drags. Neither maker publishes a measured result, so that is the published design, not a test.
Which is cheaper?
When checked, the Roborock Q10 S5+ was $280 on Amazon against a $550 list, and the eufy X10 Pro Omni was $450 against $900. The buy lines show the check date.
Other houses we judged
- Half acre, no wireThe best robot lawn mower with no perimeter wire, for a half-acre yard
A half-acre lawn, one continuous piece, a slope you notice when you push a mower up it, and no wire you are willing to bury. Every robot mower we track, judged against that yard from the limits its own maker publishes.
- Small yardThe best robot lawn mower for a small yard
A small suburban lawn, a gentle grade, and a couple of beds to steer around. Almost every robot mower we track clears a yard this size, so the question stops being which one is big enough and starts being which one is worth what it costs.
- Inground poolThe best robotic pool cleaner for an inground pool
An inground pool of ordinary size, with walls that need scrubbing as much as the floor does. Every robotic cleaner we track, judged against it on the pool length and wall climbing the makers publish, and then on what independent testers found when they ran the machines.
- Above-ground poolThe best robotic pool cleaner for an above-ground pool
An above-ground pool 24 feet across, on a soft liner, with a wall you can reach over. The maker's own pool-type rating decides this page before anything else gets a say: it rules out 5 of the 13 cleaners judged here on its own.
- Three catsThe best automatic litter box for multiple cats
3 cats, one of them big and one of them small, and one box that has to serve all of them. Two published limits decide it: the number of cats the maker rates the box for, and the weight range its sensors were built around.
- Pet hair, hard floorsThe best robot vacuum for pet hair on hard floors
A shedding dog or two cats, hard floors through most of the house, low thresholds between the rooms, and a wish that the bin emptied itself. Two robot vacuums come out of that house as picks, judged from the limits their makers publish rather than from a lab's dust-pickup score.
